| Esophagas | Muscular tube that food travels down and undergoes peristalsis: Circular and longityud muscle |
| Pancreas | Produces enzymes that break down cabohydrates, proteins and fats |
| Small Intestine | absorbs fatty acids |
| Stomach | Facilitates mechanical digestion |
| Liver | Production site of bile. |
| Duodenum | The beginningof the snall intestine; Recieves sodium bicarbonate and bile. |
| Rectum | Receives and holds th stool |
| Epiglottis | A flap the covers the windpipe |
| Anus | opening where waste xists in the body. |
| 3 parts of the small intestine | Duodenum, jejunum, and lleum |
| Bolus | Ball of mush that results from chewing your food. |
| Bile | yellowish liquid that digests fat in the stomach. |
| Lumen | Dgestive track opening from the mouth through to the anus. |
