Adenine A picture base that pairs with the mine in DNA ad uracil.
Chromosome A structure made of DNA that contains the genetic information in the form of genes needed to carry as a cell functions.
Cytosin A pyrimidine base that pairs with guanine.
Double Helix The primary physical shape of double-stranded DNA molecules.
Genes Segments of DNA that code for protein for functional RNA.
Guanine A punine base of that pairs with cytosine.
Histone A protein that DNA toils around to form chromatin.
Nitrogen-Base A nitrogen containing compound that forms part of a nucleotide ; functions as the fundamental unit of the genetic code.
Nucleic-Acid A nucleotide polymer capadable of storing and transferring genetic info
Nucleotide A molecule made of sugar, a phosphatic and a nitrogenous base; the monomer of nucleic acid.
