What is Surface Area? The outside area of each face added together.
What is a Rectum? A part of the large intestine or colon. The last area of it. Stores feces until you're ready to dispose of it.
What is Diarrhea? A malfunction of the large intestine.
What is 600 times? The folds, villi and microvilli increase the the area of the large intestine by about 600 times the size if the small intestine didn't have any folds at all.
What is the Colon? Another word for the large intestine; a storage area for waste.
What is Cellulose? The undigestable part of plant matter, once used to be digested by the appendix.
What is Constipation? When feces moves too slow in the colon because a human does not drink enough.
What is Gastric juices and muscular action? In your stomach, where protein gets chemically digested when it meets the gastric juices.
What is a Terry cloth? A cloth that absorbs better than a regular flat cloth because it has more folds. It is compared to the folds, villi and microvilli of the small intestine
What is Feces? Waste produced by the body.
What is Water, Mineral and Vitamin absorption? Water, minerals and vitamins pass through the walls of the colon
