Define terminology related to insurance.
| Term | Definition |

| Assignment of benefits | an agreement that transfers the insurance claims rights or benefits of the policy to a third party. |
| Carrier | Often called insurance companies, carriers create the insurance policy an agent offers. |
| Co-Insurance | The percentage of costs of a covered health care service you pay (20%, for example) after you've paid your deductible. |
| Deductible | The amount you pay for covered health care services before your insurance plan starts to pay. |
| Dependent | Insurance coverage for family members of the policyholder, such as spouses, children, or partners. |
| Eligibility | Conditions that must be met in order for an individual or group to be considered eligible for insurance coverage. |
| Exclusions | a provision within an insurance policy that eliminates coverage for certain acts, property, types of damage or locations. |
| Maximum | The most you have to pay for covered services in a plan year. |
| Provider | include doctors, psychologists, or physical therapists, and health care facilities, like hospitals, urgent care clinics, or pharmacies. |
