What is the reproductive systems function? The reproductive systems function is to reproduce
What other systems does the reproductive system work with? The Endocrine System, the Nervous system and the Urinary system.
What do the ovaries do? The ovaries carry all of the eggs the female will have in her lifetime.
What is a Uterus? A uterus is a hollow muscular organ located in the female pelvis between the bladder and rectum.
How long is the fallopian tubes? The fallopian tubes is 4-5 inches long
If the fallopian tubes are removed, can a woman still reproduce? No.
How much DNA does sperm contribute to the egg (slide 12) ½
Where is the scrotum located? The scrotum is located outside the body under the penis.
What are Testicles? Testicles are two small egg shaped organs that are in the scrotum, they make testosterone and sperm.
What is one testical called? Teste
What is a Epididymis? The epididymis is a tightly coiled tubes attached the the testes.
What is the vas deferens? The vas deferens is a long muscular tube that connects the epididymis into the pelvic cavity
What is the prostate? The prostate is a small gland in men that helps make semen.
