ependymal cells neuroglia that maintain cerebrospinal fluid
oligodendrocytes neuroglia that make up the myelin sheath
satellite cells neuroglia in the PNS that support neuron cell bodies
schwann cells neuroglia in the PNS that produce myelin sheaths
dendrites part of the neuron that receives the nerve impulse from senses
axon the pathway a nerve impulse travels after leaving the cell body of a neuron
nodes of ranvier allows the nerve impulse to jump, moving more quickly
bipolar neurons neurons with 2 processes
unipolar neurons neurons with 1 process
multipolar neurons neurons with many processes; most of your neurons are this type
