Cell wall ridged outer layer - protection and creates the structure of the cell
Chloroplasts site of photosynthesis (uses sunlight to create energy)
Smooth ER the production and metabolism of fats and steroid hormones (maze)
Rough ER produces, folds, and does quality control for the proteins
Nucleus the control center of the cell
Cytoplasm anchor cell organelles, allow the movement of various substances, jelly like fluid
Peroxisomes radical detoxification
Microtubules provides structure and sometimes movement
Nuclear Membrane/ Envelope boundary of nucleus and other organelles, protects genetic material
Vacuole storage for nutrients and water, etc.
