| Describe a eukaryote: | Cell with membrane-enclosed organelles. Larger than prokaryotic cells. Multicellular. Nucleus with linear DNA. |
| Describe a prokaryote: | Doesn't have membrane-bound organelles (still have membranes). Smaller and less complex than eukaryotes. Singular circular chromosome (called a nucleoid). Usually unicellular. |

| What is binary fission? | It's how prokaryotic cells reproduce, i.e. a cell splits in two to create a new organism. |
| What is mitosis and meiosis? | Mitosis - DNA from the nucleus splits in two to create a new cell. Meiosis - sexually reproducing, like sperm and egg cells. |
