Animals

these are one of the things I have done in my sience book.

QuestionAnswer
What is a vertebrate? A animal that has a backbone. (people have it to).
What does cold blooded mean? It means that the animal is the same temperature as its surroundings.
What is the difference between an insect and a spider? A couple of things,insects have three body parts, six legs and often have wings. Spiders have only two body parts, eight legs and do not have wings or feelers.
what does warm blooded mean? It means that they can only keep their own bodies warm.
what do amphibians do in order to breed? They return to water where they lay their jelly coated eggs.
Which body part do birds breath with? The lungs.
How do reptiles warm there bodies? They sun-bathe.
How long are the shrews (the smallest mammels like gerbils)? Can just be 5 cm long.
