MEIOSIS Process that makes 4 unique sex cells ( gametes)
GAMETE Sex cells ( Sperm and Egg)
FERTILIZATION Union of sperm and egg
ZYGOTE First cell made from fertilization
INTERPHASE Inter=" between" divisions (longest phase of cell cycle )
PROPHASE First ( nucleus disappears/ chromosomes thicken)
METAPHASE Chromosomes in middle
ANAPHASE Chromosomes apart
TELOPHASE Chromosomes at end ( nucleus reforms)
CYTOKINESIS Cells split / divide into two copis
