What is cytoplasm? A gel-like substance containing chemicals needed by the cell. Found in both plant and animal cells.
The DNA is stored in what part of the cell? Both animals and plants have a nucleus which contains DNA.
Photosyntheis is possible in which type of cell and why? Plant cells contain cholorplasts which is used for photosynthesis. Animal cells do not have chloroplasts.
Proteins are packaged by what part of the cell? Golgi bosies package proteins in both plant and animal cells.
Which two molecules work together to form proteins? DNA and RNA molecules work together to form proteins.
The nucleus of a cell is also known as what? The control center of the cell.
Plant cells are the only cells which contain ribosomes. Ribosomes are found in both plant and animal cells.
What substances are found in vacuoles? Vacuoles contain food , water or waste products.
Lysosomes are found in both plant and animal cells. Lysosomes are only found in animal cells.
Cell walls provide structure for animal cells. Cell walls provide structure for plant cells only.
