what is the flow of interstitial fluid & lymph? lymphatic capillaries, lymph nodes, lymphatic trunks, lymphatic duct,
lymph nodes activate B cells and T cells & also phagocytize the cellular debris & foreign material (bacteria, viruses)
conducting (elastic) arteries close to the heart, made up of elastic fibers in the tunica media
distributing (muscular) arteries farther away from heart, & have more smooth muscle in the tunica media
what is the lymphatic system composed of? lymphatic capillaries, lymph nodes, lymphatic vessels, lymph organs, & lymphatic (lymphoid) tissue
lymph node is enclosed by a sheath of tissue called the capsule
