esophagus a tube that transports food from the mouth to the stomach
liver secretes bile and breaks down protein
gallbladder pear-shaped organ that holds a digestive fluid called bile
large intestine absorbs water from undigested food
small intestine contains bile and enzymes that completely digests food and absorbs particles into the blood
