Hydrolysis Reverse of DR, monomers disassemble polymers
Carbohydrates Macromolecule group that includes sugars or polymers of sugars
Polysacharide Storage and structure polymers of sugar
Monosaccharide One sugar building block, comes in multiples of CH2O
Disaccharide Formed when a dehydration reaction joins 2 monosaccharides
Glycosidic linkage Covalent bond formed in disaccharides
