| Cell | The smallest structural unite enclosed by a membrane, that makes up all lving organisms |
| cell theory | All living organisms are made up of cells. Cells are the basic units of structure and function in living organisms New cells are made from existing cells. |
| Germ theory of diseases | The theory that microbes can cause infectious diseases |
| Unicellular organisms | An organism made up of many cell |
