| Allele | Different forms of a gene for one trait. |
| Dominant | This kind of trait always shows. |
| Recessive | This trait is hidden when the dominant trait is present |
| Example of purebred genotype | TT |
| Homozygous | Two of the same alleles for one trait. |
| Heterozygous | Organism has two different alleles for one trait. |
| Genetics | The study of how traits are inherited. |
| Multiple Allele trait. | Traits that have more than two alleles. |
| Sex-linked trait. | An allele inherited on the sex chromosomes of X or Y. |
| Punnett Square | Tool used to help predict what an offspring will look like. |
| Example of Ratio | 1:4 rabbits will be white. |
| Example of Probability | 75% of the rabbits will have floppy ears. |
| Genotype | The genetic makeup of an organsim. Ex: Hh |
