Gynecomastia Adrenal cortex hyper-secretion of estrogen causing excessive breast tissue in males
Hysterectomy surgical removal of uterus
Inguinal Hernia Protrusion of the intestines thru the abdominal wall into the scrotum
Laparoscopy Examination of the abdominopelvis cavity with a thin tube containing a viewing device inserted through the abdominal wall
Oophorectomy Surgical removal of an ovary
Orchitis Inflammation of the testes
Ovarian cancer Malignancy that typically arises from the cells in the germinal epithelial covering of the ovary. 5th most common reproductive system cancer in women. (increases with age)
Ovarian Cysts Most common disorders of the ovary; some are tumors.
PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome) Endocrine disorder in womenlinked to obesity and insulin resistance, characterized by androgen excess
Salpingitis Inflammation of the uterine tubes
