Cartilage Connective tissue that is more flexible than bone and that protects the ends of bones and keeps them from rubbing together
Spongy Bone Layer of bone tissue having many small spaces and fouond just inside the layer of compact bone
Intervertebral Discs Cartilage discs between vertebrae bones of the spine
Joint Place in the body where two bones come together
Lateral Collateral Ligament (LCL) Ligament on outer part of knee connecting the femur to the fibula
Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL) Ligament inside of knee connecting the femur to the tibia
Femur Large bone of upper leg
Pelvic Gridle/Pelvis Ring of bones in the lower trunk that includes the hips, coccyx, and pubic bones
Vertebral Column/Vertebrae Bones of the spinal column
Costals Rib bones
Carpals Small bones of the wrist
Metacarpals Long bones of the hands
Scapula Shoulder blade
Clavicle Collar bone
Sternum Chest bone
Ligament Fibrous connective tissue that attaches bones to bones at a joint
Compact Bone Hard, dense bone tissue that is beneath the outer membrane of a bone
Mandible Lower jaw bone
Medial Collateral Ligament (MCL) Ligament on inner part of knee connecting the knee to the tibia
Anterior Cruciate Ligament Ligament on inside of knee connecting the femur to the tibia
