fermentation If oxygen is not present, glycolysis is followed by fermentation. (anaerobic) two kinds: alcoholic and lactic acid.
Krebs cycle 2nd process of cellular respiration. It takes place in the mitochondria; needs oxygen; During this cycle, pyruvic acid is broken down into Carbon dioxide in a series of energy-releasing reactions, a.k.a. critic acid cycle
