| consumer | An organism that eats other organism to get energy. |
| carnivore | An animal that eats other animals to get energy. |
| herbivore | An animal that eats plants to get energy. |
| omnivore | An animal that eats plants and other animals to get energy. |
| decomposer | An organism that break down dead organisms. |
| predator | An animal that hunts other animals to get energy. |
| prey | An animal that is hunted and eaten by other animals. |
