Pandemic/Outbreak

Pandemic an epidemic that’s spread over multiple countries or continents
Epidemic a disease that affects a large number of people within a community, population, or region
Outbreak a greater-than-anticipated increase in the number of endemic cases. It can also be a single case in a new area. If it’s not quickly controlled, an outbreak can become an epidemic.
Bacteria a unicellular microorganism lacking a true nucleus (prokaryote) and some can cause disease
Antibiotics a medicine that inhibits the growth of or destroys microorganisms like bacteria
Antibiotic resistance happens when germs like bacteria no long respond to drugs designed to kill them
E. coli (Escheria coli) type of bacteria that normally lives in your intestines transmitted by feces of animals
MRSA a type of staph infection that is difficult to treat because of resistance to some antibiotics
Infectious disease disorders caused by a bacteria, viruses, fungi or parasites. Can be passed from person to person.
