The cardiovascular system is composed of the heart and blood vessels
Three distinct layers of tissue of the heart the endocardium, the myocardium, and the epicardium
The upper chambers of the heart right atrum (RA) and left atrium (LA)
The lower chamvers of the heart right ventricle (RV) and left ventricle(LV)
The heart is enclosed in a membranous sac which is called the pericardium
The vessel that the blood from the head, arms, legs, and torso is delivered to the RA the vena cava
