circularity system

veins carries blood to the heart
arteries carries blood away from the heart
plasma composed of mainly water which as a transport medium for the cells and dissolved substances
open circulatory system the heart pumps blood in vessels that are open ended
closed circulatory system the blood remains in a continuous system of blood vessels
arterioles smaller arteries
venules smaller veins
pericardium the thin protective layer around the heart wall
septum wall that separates the left hand side from the right hand side of the heart
aorta the large artery in your heart that pumps oxygenated blood through your body
pulmonary vein pumps the deoxygenated blood back to the heart
