Mouth Physical & chemical digestion through teeth and saliva
Esophagus tube that moves food by muscle contractions. Connects mouth and stomach
Stomach Muscular bag that contracts, contains acids & enzymes.
Small Intestines Muscular tube where chemical digestion occurs & nutrients are absorbed
Large Intestines Tube where water and nutrients are absorbed. Creates and stores solid waste.
Rectum Stores solid waste until it is released
