Andes Mountains The Andes Mountains is the longest continental Mountain rage in the world.
Nasca The meaning of nasca is of or relating to a culture of the cost of souther Peru dating from about 2000 b.c.
Geoglyphs A large design or drawing created on the surface of the earth.
Terrace A level paved area or platfrom next to a building; a patio or veranda.
Quinoa The seeds of the quinoa wased used for food.
Pachacuti Pachacutec was the ninth ruler of the Inca state.
Quarried Cut into (rock or ground) to obtain stone or other materials.
Francisco Picchu Francisco Pizarro Gonzales was a spanish conquistaedor, best known for his expeditions that led the spanish conquest of Peru.
Atahualpa Last independent Incan emperor(1532-1533), who defeated his half brother huascar (1532) and briefly reunited the empire after years of civil war.
Sapa Inca Sapa Inca means " The Great Inca" or "The Only Inca".
Machu Picchu A ruined Incan city in S Peru.
Inti A former basic monetary until of Peru, equal to 100 centimos.
