Mitosis (Ethan D) Replaces damaged cells and counts as a healing and tissue repair. Also helps us not shrink and die.
Unicellular (Ethan D) Having or consisting of a single cell unicellular microorganisms.
The cell cycle (Ethan D) The period of time from one cell division to the next.
Prophase (Ethan D) 1 of the phases of mitosis. (P.M.A.T)
Metaphase (Ethan D) 1 of the phases of mitosis. (P.M.A.T)
Anaphase (Ethan D) 1 of the phases of mitosis. (P.M.A.T)
Telophase (Ethan D) 1 of the phases of mitosis. (P.M.A.T)
Centrioles (Ethan D) Organelle near the nucleus that come in pairs involved in the development of spindle fibers in cell division.
Spindle fibers (Ethan D) Form a protein structure that's involved in cell division.
Centromere (Ethan D) Chromosome that holds together the two chromatids and counts as a point of attachment.
Equator (Ethan D) Middle of cell that spindle fibers move chromosomes to during the metaphase.
Cytokinesis (Ethan D) The physical process of cell division which divides the cytoplasm of a parental cell into two daughter cells.
