| PARASITISM | a relationship between two species in which one species, the parasite, benefits from the other species, the host which is harmed |
| SYMBIOSIS | a relationship in which two different organisms live in close association with each other |
| MUTUALISM | a relationship between two species in which both species benefit |
| COMMENSALISM | a relationship between two organisms in which one organism benefits and the other is unaffected |
| PREY | the organism that is attacked |
| PREDATORS | the organism that is hunting |
| PARASITES | an organism that lives on or inside another organism to the detriment of the host organism |
| HOST | in parasitism, one organism feeds on another organism |
| TAPEWORM EXAMPLE | live in the digestive system of their hosts |
| FLEAS EXAMPLE | fleas that live on the skin(the host) |
| HERBIVORES | animals that eat plants |
