| Why do we use Trophic levels | We use Trophic levels to show an organisms feeding level starting with the beginning feeding level (the lowest) is the primary. |
| Whats a producer | A producer is the lowest level of an organism.They create energy through photosynthesis hence the name producer |
| Define Primary consumer | Primary consumers are the second lowest level of organisms.These organisms feed on the lower level producers and get energy from eating the producers |
| Whats a decomposer | A decomposer turns dead or decaying matter into nutrients in the soil. |
| Name one example of a producer | One example of a producer could include grass since it produces its own energy via photosynthesis |
| Name a primary consumer | An example of a primary consumer could include a a caterpillar since it gets its energy from eating producers plants |
