Cell Membrane Protects the cell and allows materials in and out of the cell
Nucleus Contains the DNA
Mitochrondria The "Powerhouse" of the cell converts food into energy
Cytoplasm Jelly like substance within the cell membrane
Ribosome Small structures that synthesizes proteins
Vacuole Stores water, nutrients or waste products
Chloroplast Converts sunlight to chemical energy (only found in plant cells)
Cell wall Help support the plant cell (only found in plant cells)
Chromosomes Contains the information for the traits and characteristics of an organism.
Chlorophyll The green pigment in the leaves and stems of plants that produces food for the plant.
Nucleolus Small organelle found in the Nucleus.
Eukaryotic cells that contains nucleus
Prokaryotic cells that does not have a nucleus
