ovum An egg cell

fallopian tube a tube that connects the ovary to the uterus.

gene A unit that determines a humans inherited characteristics.
genome The complete blueprint for the creation of a person
DNA The complex molecules that make up genes .
infertility the inability to conceive a child
surrogate a substitue "mother"
zygote the fertilized egg
prenatal development the baby's development during a pregnancy
embryo The developing baby from the third week to the eighth week
amniotic fluid The liquid that surrounds and protects the developing baby uterus
