| Coronal Pulp | ~ development near the crown of tooth. ~ One of two main divisions of pulp ~ Pulpal horns are extensions into the cusp ~ Has six surfaces; occlusal, mesial, distal, buccal, lingual and the floor |
| Coronal Pulp | ~ Contains large nerve trunks and blood vessels ~ Length changes with age. It decreases in volume due to continued (secondary) dentin formation - often the result of continued masticatory trauma. |
| Radicular Pup | One of two main divisions of pulp ~ Another name for root canal ~ Part of pulp located in the root of the tooth |
| Radicular Pup | ~ Opening - apical foramen and accessory canals ~ Contains large nerve trunks and blood vessels ~ Sympathetic axons projects into and they form a plexus along the blood vessels |
