Uncontrolled Cell Division
| Term | Definition |

| Cancer | A disease caused by uncontrolled division of abnormal cells in a part of the body. |
| Tumor | Abnormal growth of body tissue |
| Benign tumor | Type of tumor that do not spread/invade other parts of tissues and they are rarely threat to health. |
| Malignant tumor | Type of tumor that spread to distant locations and becomes life threatening. |
| Metastasis | Stage where cancer cells break away from the original (primary) tumor, travel through the blood or lymph system, and form a new tumor in other organs or tissues of the body. |
| Angiogenesis | Stage where there is growth of new blood vessels that tumors need to grow. |
| Breast cancer | Most prevalent type of cancer among women. |
| Lung, Bronchus and tracheal cancer | Most prevalent type of cancer among men. |
