TermDefinition
Induction - Inducing cell tissue, signals the development of the responding group of cells - Authoritize formation order of the layers of teeth such as the formation of first debris and then enamel forming - Essential for the function and protection of the tooth
Proliferation - Rapidly increases cell numbers in the nasal layer of epithelium and thickening it for future dental arch of the mandibular - Increase of Size and Shape of tooth germ and the cells - Entire growth potential of teeth. Continues from BUD into CAP stage
Differentiation Histodifferentiation; different tissue types during the development of teeth into different forms. For example, incisors, canines, premolars, and molars.
Morphogenesis When five developing tooth germs appear in each quadrant at 10th week in utero. At 16th week in utero, the tooth germs of the permanent incisors and the 1st permanent molars begin to form. The 2nd and 3rd permanent molar tooth germs appear after birth
Apposition The layers are formed; enamel, cementum and dentin. It is the growth of the layers.
Concrescence Two fully formed crowns of the teeth with separate root canal structures that are joined at the cementum.
