Abiotic and biotic

Biotic and Abiotic

biotic Refers to something that is a living (or was a once living) part of an ecosystem.
abiotic Refers to something that is a non-living part of an ecosystem. However, even though not biotic, abiotic factors play a part in determining the types of organisms that can live in a given ecosystem.
