What is the superior Vena Cava? It is a large diameter, yet short vein that carries deoxygenated blood from the upper half of the body.
What is the Inferior Vena Cava? It is the large vein that carries deoxygenated blood from the lower half of the body to the right atrium of the heart.
What is the Aortic Arch? It splits from the right subclavian artery and the right common cartid artery which supplies blood respectively.
What is the Pulmonary Trunk? A vessel that arises from the right ventricle of the heart.
What is the Left Atrium? The upper right chamber of the heart that receives oxygenated blod from the lungs and pumps it down into the left ventricle which delivers it to the body.
What is the Right Atrium? It receivesdeoxygenated blood from the body and through the vena cava and pumps it into the right ventricle which then is sent to the lungs to be oxygenated.
What is the Left Ventricle? The chamber that recieves blood from the left atrium and pumps it out under high pressure to the body via the aorta
What is the Right Ventricle? The lower right chamber of the heart that receives deoxygenated blood from the right atrium and pumps it under low pressure into the lungs.
What is the Coronary Artery and vein? The vessels that supply the heart muscle with blood rich in oxygen.
What are the right or left pumonary arteries? They are vessles that carry blood away from the heart.
