1 Electron Transporters (AKA taxi drivers): Which ones are used in which process? What is there job? Who do they “drive? Where do they “drive” them? What do the do after dropping off “passangers”? NADP+ - Photosynthesis - picks up high energy e- & transfer them to another molecule - 2 high energy electrons & an H+ ion to make NADPH - NADPH carries e- to other chemical reactions within the

NAD+ - glycolysis - accepts a pair of high-energy electrons --> NADH - holds the electrons until they can be transferred to other molecules - basically, helps to pass energy from glucose to other pathways in the cell
