What is Dominance Allele? Masks the recessive gene if it's heterozygous
What is carrier? An individual that carries 1 gene for a particular recessive trait. It express the trait but,when mated with another, can produce offspring that do.
What is Nondisjunction Error in meiosis in which homologous chromosomes can't separate.
What is variation? A difference or deviation in structure or character from others of the same species or group
What is incomplete dominance? Both alleles of a heterozygote influence the phenotype, like an allele.
What 2 chromosmes do males have? X chromosome and Y chromosome
What 2 chromosomes do females have? X chromosomes
What are the genetic disorders of recessive alleles? Albinism, Cystic fibrosis, and Tay-Stachs disease
What are the genetic disorders caused by dominant alleles? (Dwarfism) Achondroplasia, (Nervous system disorder) Huntington's Disease, and (Excess Chloestrol in blood) Hypercholesterolemia
