Ribosomes organelles that make protein and are in both eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells
DNA genetic material that contains all the information of the cell
Prokaryote cell with no nucleus, is small and simple, and has no organelles
Eukaryote cell with a nucleus, is large, has organelles, is complex
Organic Molecules molecules with carbon in them (ex: like all 4 biomolecules)
Protein made of amino acids, involved with muscle development, includes enzymes as an example
Carbohydrate sugars; provide quick energy for cells
Lipid makes up the cell membrane, examples are fats, long term energy storage, good for insulation
Nucleic Acid examples are DNA and RNA; hold a cell's genetic information
Enzymes are specific to certain temperatures; proteins that speed up reactions; end in -ase; denature when not in optimal conditions
