TermDefinition
Conclusion Summarize your results. It either supports or contradicts your hypothesis.
constant Any aspect of an experiment that a researcher intentionally keeps unchanged throughout an experiment.
control Minimize the effects of variables other than the independent variable.
data The recorded information of the experiment
dependent variable A variable whose value depends on that of another.
expermient A scientific procedure to make a discovery and test the hypothesis.
hypothesis An educated guess.
independent variable A variable whose variation doesn't depend on that of another.
interpret Explaining the meaning of information.
magnification The action of magnifying something.
micron Unit of length equal to one millionth of a meter.
