temperate phage | bacteriophage that does not immediately kill it's host cell |
uncoating | the removal of the viral capsid within a host cell |
virion | a virus outside of a cell |
viroid | infectious piece of RNA |
virus | infectious agent with nucleic acid surrounded by a protein shell |
