Reproduce, All organisms reproduce Organism of the same species can reproduce and create new organisms in their species
DNA, All organisms have DNA DNA is often referred to as the code of life
Grow and develop, All organisms grow and develop To grow is to change in size while to develop is to change in shape and form
Obtain, all organisms obtain material and use energy Producers, or autotrophs, are plants or any other organisms that can make their own food sources. Consumers, or heterotrophs , must consume another organism for food
Respond, All organisms respond to a stimulus A stimulus-response is like a cause-effect relationship. The stimulus causes a response.
Homeostasis, All organisms are looking for homeostasis Homeostasis is the process where systems try to reach a steady state or balance. However, organisms are never able to reach a perfect balance.
Evolve, All living things evolve Evolution is gradual accumulation of adaptations that, over time, help a population survive and be able to produce new offspring that can survive and reproduce
