1. Progesterone | a steroid hormone released by the corpus luteum that stimulates the uterus to prepare for pregnancy. |
2.Estrogen | any of a group of steroid hormones which promote the development and maintenance of female characteristics of the body. |
3.Ovulation | discharge of ova or ovules from the ovary. |
4.Implantation | the stage of pregnancy at which the embryo adheres to the wall of the uterus. |
5. Uterus | the organ in the lower body of a woman or female mammal where offspring are conceived and in which they gestate before birth; the womb. |
6. Cervix- | the narrow passage forming the lower end of the uterus. |
7. Vagina | the muscular tube leading from the external genitals to the cervix of the uterus in women and most female mammals. |
8.Testosterone | a steroid hormone that stimulates development of male secondary sexual characteristics, produced mainly in the testes, but also in the ovaries and adrenal cortex. |
9.Fetus | an unborn offspring of a mammal, in particular an unborn human baby more than eight weeks after conception. |
10. Vas deferens | the duct which conveys sperm from the testicle to the urethra. |
11. Semen | the male reproductive fluid, containing spermatozoa in suspension. |
12. Oviduct/Fallopian tube | the tube through which an ovum or egg passes from an ovary. |
13. Epididymis | a highly convoluted duct behind the testis, along which sperm passes to the vas deferens. |
14. Placenta | a flattened circular organ in the uterus of pregnant eutherian mammals, nourishing and maintaining the fetus through the umbilical cord. |
15. Menopause | the ceasing of menstruation. |
16. Menstruation | the process in a woman of discharging blood and other materials from the lining of the uterus at intervals of about one lunar month from puberty until menopause, except during pregnancy. |

18. Differentiation | The normal process by which a less specialized cell develops or matures to become more distinct in form and function |
19. Gestation | The period of development of the young in viviparous animals, from the time of fertilization of the ovum until birth. |
20. Embryo | an unborn or unhatched offspring in the process of development, in particular a human offspring during the period from approximately the second to the eighth week after fertilization (after which it is usually termed a fetus). |
