WHAT IS THE E K G TEST THE E K G TEST IS A DIAGNOSTIC TEST THAT ALLOWS THE DR TO ASSESS THE ELECTRICAL ACTIVITY OF YOUR HEART. NON INVASIVE , ONLY TAKES A FEW MINUTES TO GET READY AND PERFORM TEST.
LATEX OR RUBBER HAVE YOU EVER HAD AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO EITHER OF THOSE THINGS
CELL PHONES, 2 WAY RADIOS I WILL NEED YOU TO TURN OFF ANY ELECTRONIC DEVICES YOU MAY HAVE IN YOUR POCKETS OR ON YOUR PERSON PLEASE,
ELECTRODE PLACEMENT I WILL BE PLACING X # OF ELECTRODES ON VARIOUS PARTS OF YOUR BODY, THEY ALLOW THE LEADS TO SEND THE INFORMATION TO THE E K G MACHINE
POSITIONING I WILL NEED YOU TO LAY FLAT ON YOUR BACK AND TRY YOUR BEST TO BE STILL, IT ONLY TAKES ABOUT 10 SECONDS , FOR THE MACHINE TO GET AN ACCURATE READING, PLEASE DO NOT HOLD THE HAND RAILS.
REACTIONS PLEASE LET ME KNOW IMMEDIATELY IF YOU BEGIN HAVING ITCHING, SWELLING OR REDNESS AT THE ELECTRODE SITES.

INFANTS UNDER 1 HR 100-160Bpm, RESP RATE 30-60/min, 02 SAT > 70%, TEMP 96.4 -99.1
FIRST PROTOCOL STEP IDENTIFY YOURSELF TO THE PATIENT ASK HIS/HER NAME AND DATE OF BIRTH CHECK WRISTBAND WHILE PUTTING ON GLOVES
PATIENT LABEL PREPINTED STICKY LABEL THAT IS PLACED ON MEDICAL RECORDS AND TESTS PERFORMED, SPECIMENS, ETC TO IDENTIFY THOSE ITEMS AS BELONGING TO THAT PARTICULAR PATIENT.
