Cell Membrane Part of the cell that holds cell contents together controls movement acceptances in and out of one cell known as the “GateKeeper”
Cytoplasm Watery substance where the organelles are suspended, used for transport and chemical reactions
Ribosomes Cell structure that makes protein synthesis, much-needed cell, can be found floating or attached
Golgi apparatus Is found in all cells of plants and animals, sacs or tube-like structures
endoplasmic reticulum Forms an interconnected Network, separates molecules, transfers protein, sac or tube-like structures
Vacuoles Membrane surrounded storage compartment in a cell, stores food, water, and other materials
Nucleus Brain of all cells, it is the control center in stores all genetic information
Mitochondria Powerhouse of all cells, it creates energy for cells
Cell Wall Surrounds the cell membrane, protects the cell, allows materials to pass through
Diffusion movement of particles going from high to low concentration
Osmosis water that passes through the cell membrane from higher concentration to lower concentration
Exocytosis used to take waste and large materials to the altar environment
Cilia hairlike structure and propels for yourself example nose exposed to dust
Flagella: whip-like structure that helps cells to move
