TermDefinition
Cell The basic unit of all living things except viruses. In advanced organisms, cells consist of a nucleus.
Organism an individual constituted to carry on the activities of life by means of organs separate in function but mutually dependent.
Prokaryotic cell Prokaryotic cells are cells that do not have a true nucleus or most other cell organelles.
Eukaryotic cell Eukaryotic cells are cells that contain a nucleus and organelles, and are enclosed by a plasma membrane.
Unicellular having or consisting of a single cell.
Multicellular composed of several or many cells.
Biotic factors a living thing, as an animal or plant, that influences or affects an ecosystem.
Abiotic factors a non living condition or thing, as climate or habitat, that influences or affects an ecosystem and the organisms in it.
Adaptation an adaptation of a play for television.
Stimuli something that incites to action or exertion or quickens action, feeling, thought.
