What are the 4 windows in an Echo exam? left parasternal, apical, subcostal, & suprasternal
What are the views in the left parasternal window? parasternal long axis (PLAX), parasternal RVIT, parasternal RVOT, parasternal short axis (PSAX) Aortic valve level, Basal mitral valve level, Mid papillary muscle level, & Apical level
What are the views in the apical window? apical 4 chamber, apical 5 chamber, apical 2 chamber, & apical 3 chamber/long axis
What are the views in the subcostal window? subcostal long axis (4 chamber), subcostal IVC & hepatic veins, subcostal short axis, & IAS/IVS
What are the views in the suprasternal window? suprasternal long axis, suprasternal short axis, & suprasternal short axis with crab view
If you see liver closest to the transducer in you image, what window is being used? subcostal
