hypothesis proposed explanation or answer to a scientific question
experiment process that tests a hypothesis by collecting information under controlled conditions
data observations and measurements recorded during an experiment
conslusion a summary that explains whether or not the data supports the hypothesis
control(group) the group that does not receive the factor(variable)that is being tested
Experimental (group) the group that receives the factor(variable) in an experiment that is trying to be test
Constant(s) all the things that must be the same in both the controlled and experimental groups.
Controlled variables variables that stay the same throughout the experiment
Placebo a treatment which is designed to have no real effect. While the experimental group receives the real treatment the control group may be given a placebo
