Plasma membrane aka Cell Membrane Regulates what goes in and out of a cell. It is semi-permeable
Cytoplasm Gel like fluid that allows cell structures to communicate with each other
Ribosome Synthesizes proteins
Cell Wall Provides protection and support. Makes the cell rigid
Nucleus Control center of the cell and holds the DNA in eukaryotic cells
Mitochondria Responsible for cellular respiration O2+C6H12O6→ CO2+H2O+ATP
Chloroplast Responsible for doing photosynthesis CO2+H2O+ Light energy→ O2+C6H12O6
Vacuole Stores stuff like, food, water, gases, nutrients and waste
Golgi bodies Modifies, sorts, packages and gets material ready to be shipped
Endoplasmic Reticulum ER Assembles cell membrane and exports protein and other molecules
Lysosome Responsible for intracellular digestion.
Centriole Found in animal cells and is important for cell division
