What does the word Ecosystem mean? ecological systems- populations and communities interacting together
Do ecosystems include both living and nonliving things? yes

What does the term abiotic factor mean? nonliving
What is a biome? a large scale community of organisms shaped by common environmental conditions.
What scale of ecosystem is a pond, puddle, tree trunk or under a rock? micro
What scale of ecosystem is a forest or large lake? Messo
What scale of ecosystem is a rainforest of the earth? Biome
What is it called when ecosystems blend together? ecotone
Population groups of individuals in a species that live in a specific geographic area.
Community all the populations in a specific area at a given time - includes different species
Biosphere all the ecosystems established on planet earth
