QuestionAnswer
Taxonomy The study of the general principles of scientific classification.
Taxonomic Key An identification key is a printed or computer-aided device that aids the identification of biological organisms.
Classification The act of distributing things into classes or categories of the same type.
Binomial Nomenclature The scientific system of naming each species of organism with a Latinized name in two parts.
Genus A genus is # a low-level taxonomic rank used in the classification of living and fossil organisms.
Species A taxonomic group whose members can interbreed.
